Sam's 3rd Birthday

 
Sam is Three!!!!


Sam had a Monster Truck Party at the park to celebrate his 3rd
Birthday!  He was so excited for the big party and had so much fun with his cousins and his friends.

 We celebrated at a nearby park with lots of balloons, monster trucks and a hot dog barbeque (nice work, dad)!

Pinata Time - Sam wasn't sure at first, but we let him have another turn after getting to watch everyone else and he did much better the second time around.  The kids loved the Gravedigger Pinata!

Monster Truck Cake time... Sam was so excited for cake, singing Happy Birthday, and blowing out his candles.  He even asked if he could have a party hat!  He did a great job blowing out candles.

 

 Lots and lots of presents and lots more Monster trucks to add to his collection.

  

We were also so blessed to have Mema with us for the 5 days after Seattle.  She drove home with us and hung out with Sam and Ava every day.  They were spoiled with lots of trips to the park, flashlight fun, and lots of Mema time.   We also rode bikes to Art in The Park, the Downtown Market and dad even brought everyone to Chik-fil-A.  It was so nice to have her here for Sam's birthday.

Fun In Seattle

We had such a fun 4 days in Seattle with Mema and Papa and the Berglunds.  We enjoyed PERFECT sunny weather and were quite the tourists in our time there!

DAY 1: SPACE NEEDLE and MEXICAN DINNER OUT

 

DAY 2: SEATTLE AQUARIUM and HARBOR CRUISE

Sam and Ava loved the Aquarium - Sam was excited to see sharks and kept asking where they were.  They both loved picking out a sea animal to have painted on them and loved looking at the sea life.

Harbor cruise - it was so nice to see all the sights from a boat - especially on such a clear beautiful day.  Sam enjoyed the boat ride (and the popcorn).  Ava had to be wrangled for much of the ride and eventually brought below the upper deck!

 

....And, Mom & Dad got to go on a date :)  (Thanks Mema & Papa!)

 DAY 3: PIKES MARKET, THE FERRIS WHEEL, THE BEACH & A FAMILY DINNER

DAY 4: THE DUCK LAND AND SEA RIDE & SOME DOWN TIME 

 

 Sam got to go up front and put on his captain gear.  The whole boat also sang him HAPPY BIRTHDAY!  When they asked him how old he was, he yelled "I'm Free!"  (So Cute!)

We loved Seattle and hope to be back.  Thanks Mema & Papa for such a fun trip!!!!
