Summer is here

Sleep?  No way... not until I get picked up and then I fall asleep!

Samuel is a PreK Graduate

 

Samuel graduated from PreK and we got to go and watch and celebrate with him.

 

The ceremony was all the different PreK's combined where they sang songs and recited a memory verse.

 

Each kid was given a character trait by their teachers and Sam's was "Perseverance."

It has been such a fun year watching Sam grow and learn.  At the end of the school year he was writing words and reading easy readers!  Sam is so excited for Kindergarten and was disappointed as he thought he would get to go the day after graduation!

Mothers Day, The Flu and Sprinklers

 A week/weekend of highs and lows..... starting with the flu.  Mom and Ava were struck during the week and Sam and dad hit on Friday night with 10x the intensity.  It made for a very rough start to our weekend!

 

 

Everyone was feeling better by Sunday for Mothers Day!

I am one blessed mom!

Ava was cold from running in the sprinklers - we suggested she wrap up in her towel and dry off.... she had a different solution.  She got her winter gear out (hat and gloves) and continued running through the sprinklers!  :)

Gavin's first day of daycare

Monday was Gavin's first day of daycare and Ava and Sam were so excited for him to go to school with them. Making it out the door with all three and mom to work will be quite the challenging new normal for us!

 

Gavin was so good - only tears were from mom! Everything with Gavin is the last time for everything so it's all a little bittersweet.

 

They said Gavin was great and smiley all day for them and was for mom that night as well!

 

3 months old and a ROCKSTAR!

 

3 months old today and little Gavin slept until 6am (9+ hours!). It felt like moms birthday!

The only bad part is he woke up with a crusty sealed eye ?!?!?) and had eye goop yesterday.... Not good as tomorrow is first day of daycare. It is always (and I mean always) something....!!!! A walk in clinic likely in our plans today.
