We once again went to McCall with our Bible study group and had such a fun time.  We all hung out for dinner and walks and time at the beach and in town.  A special treat was the last night the older couples in our group planned a fun kids night with dinner, games and charades so us parents could have a little night out (that is such a rarity!) so much appreciated.

 

The kids had such a great time!

Gavin- 6 month appointment

 

Gavin is actually close to 7 months old, but had his 6 month appointment yesterday. He was so happy and Was hamming it up with the doctor- babbling, smiling and laughing!

Weight: 17 lb 11.4 oz (42%tile)

Height: 26.38" (20%tile)

Head: 46.4 cm (98%tile)

He is definitely gaining ground!

Gavin is ready to move and is now rolling across the floor. He is starting to be able to scoot backwards in his walker on wheels. His favorite, by far, is the Johnny jumper and he is a little flying squirrel in it. He is so loved by his brother and sister and they love to make him laugh by tearing paper in front of him. Gavin is a very slow adopter on solid food but we are making progress!

Love this little boy so much!

Sam - Kindergarten

 

First Day of Kindergarten 2015

 

Sam was so excited for Kindergarten and has been waiting for the day to start - and not have to take naps anymore!  We tell him he will miss naps someday!

 

Sam's teacher is Mrs. Boyette and he is in one of 3 K classes.  He has 4 3rd cousins in Kindergarten as well and two of them - Lily and Audrey Russell - are in his class.

 

We are excited to see Sam loving school, but yet a little bittersweet to be reminded of how fast he is growing up.

 

Below was our weekend before Kindergarten.. homework already!

 

 

Ava is sad that Sam and Matias are not at Little Scholars all day anymore, but she has been moved up to the big room and is doing much better.  She still loves to see them at 3:30 when they come over from Cole.

 

Ava insisted on having her picture taken as well!

Gavin is 6 months today!!!

** Loves his Johnny jumper!

** Rolls to his tummy and gets stuck and cries for help :)

** Happiest easy-going baby....ever!

** Loves to splash in the tub.

** Good sleeper... Usually wakes up one time per night.

** Not too impressed with rice cereal

** loves to talk and make noises- day care always says he is so loud!

Gavin is one loved little boy - happy 1/2 year birthday!!!
