Mr. Big Stuff
Because Gavin is such a water baby, he gets a bath from mom almost every night. Occasionally he gets to watch the big kids take a bath, and when Sam gets out, we lower the water and put Gavin in with Ava for some playtime in the bath.
As the bath was filling with water, Gavin was in the bathroom and I walked in and he was standing up – I asked Sam if he lifted him up to standing and Sam said no. I wasn't sure and let it go, but lo and behold, a little bit later he pulled himself up and continued to do so. Not surprising that being able to see the bath and his older brother and sister was a big motivation as baths are his biggest thrill!!
Since Friday night, he has pulled himself up in his crib, climbed up the first stair, and climbed onto a little chair – it is definitely time for baby gates and lowering the crib mattress!!!

Building food boxes at the mission with dad
I can't even tell you how much these two kids love volunteering at the Mission and it is so awesome to see our Bible Study friends (Ami and Lanie) loving and helping and corralling our kids as if they were their own! Dad said the kids did a great job and he was proud- as always, they are asking when they can go again!
