We had a fun Fourth watching the parade with the Cooke cousins! We also went to a fun picnic in the evening - Sam played with his best buddy Andrew (they were inseparable) and Ava kept us busy chasing her! We had a fun day!

Hockey games - another way to stay cool!

Trip to the Oregon Coast - June 2013
We had an AMAZING trip to the Oregon Coast to celebrate 40 years of marriage of mom and dad (or Grandpa and Grandma!). The kids LOVED walking on the beach and running from the waves. They loved playing in the sand and finding shells and crab legs and even a starfish. We went sight-seeing in Astoria and Seaside, went to the aquarium and played at the arcade. We also went on a beautiful hike and to Cannon Falls. We all had a great time and enjoyed just hanging out together at the house - the kids loved playing with their cousins and all the fun toys and the adults enjoyed some lively (and competitive) Pictionary games!
