Boat rides and Tubing - Sam and Ava both took a ride with mom - So Brave!

 

Playing at the beach with cousins.  Other highlights were cake for Ezra's Birthday, a piñata, and a rowdy game of Duck-Duck-Goose.

 

the Kids were exhausted after a long day at the lake but had so much fun.

Sam and Ava were so SO excited to test some Bakery holiday samples mom brought home! Sam worked on a Minion gingerbread house and Ava a Candyland house. It was messy but fun and since free, mom didn't feel bad throwing them out after a few bites!!!

A fun and low-key weekend. A movie night with Sam & Ava, sweet notes from Sam, and a little baby Gavin we all couldn't possibly love any more than we do!

4th Of July Weekend

FOURTH OF JULY WEEKEND


We had a great Fourth of July weekend!  To start, Friday morning we met the Thompsons at Lucky peak for swimming.  The kids had a blast and it was nice to be near water on the 8th day of 100+ degree temps!

On the fourth, we headed over to Grandma and Papa's for Extreme Slip and Slide, BBQ and fireworks!  Bradley attempted to recreate Uncle Roberts 50 foot slip n slide from last year - only two injuries - blood drawn but bandaid fixable. 

 

 

Gavin was great all day and his usual easy self.... except for his outfit-changing-projectile-vomiting-on-mom-twice episodes... needless to say, both Gavin and I went through 3 outfits but he was a trooper as he must have not been feeling 100%

 The kids were excited for fireworks for days and days... this is what they were excited and waiting for.  To start the night out with some excitement, dad surprised all the kids and had his remote control gravedigger drive in front of everyone with an American flag out the back and attached smoke bombs - the kids loved it!  (Nerd Alert!)

  

 

Fireworks were a hit and the kids were lined up on the grass and running ALL OVER the place.  Our only close call was Ava twirling with a sparkler, getting dizzy and falling with the burning sparkler inches from her eye....

 

A fun day.... and some tired kiddos!
