We had a fun family outing last Saturday to the Mall of America - we woke up to a snowy cold day and wanted to get out of the house so we headed to Sea Life Aquarium at the Mall of America. We knew Sam would love it and he did!
Sam squealing at the side of the tanks at the stingrays and sharks made it all worth it. Ava, as usual, slept through the whole thing!
ZOO
Later that week, mom took Sam and Ava to the Minnesota Zoo - mom had never been and she knew Sam would love to see some monkeys, among other things! Sam did love the Tropics trail which included fish, monkeys, flamingos and turtles!
We had fun but will definitely come back when it's a little less busy (not spring break!) and also when it is warmer so we can see all the outside exhibits and visit the farm.
Mom also had her hands a little full with Ava sleeping in the stroller and Sam wanting to run and see everything!
Now, just some fun pictures from the last week
Our beautiful sweet Ava
So cute.... I was doing some "tummy time" with Ava and Sam jumped in to show Ava how it's done! Funny as Sam HATED tummy time when he was a baby!
Sam - always lots of fun pictures of Sam as he is into something new every five minutes!
My entertainment Saturday morning - dad giving Sam some Hockey lessons. Sam likes to hold the stick, yet pick up the balls with his hands - dad insists Sam "use your stick" - not your hands.
Sam showing dad what he thinks about "use your stick!"
Mom got a big smile out of watching the whole thing! I don't know if I can escape hockey since I did marry a Minnesotan.... we'll see!
