Bradley and Katie babysitting.... bribing with ice cream! ....this after a dance party, follow the leader, and dog pile on aunt Katie!
Sam LOVED (understatement) the dogs at Grandma and Papa's. The first few days he would get excited to see them but run away from them. Within a few days he was sitting on them, tackling them, and following them around constantly. I'm not sure the dogs were thrilled but Sam sure loved them!
And then....to keep Daddio and the kids happy......
....Family trip to PF Changs - how cute are these two??? Sam loves the lettuce wraps at Chang's and had so much fun watching a little bird outside and giving him little bits of food to eat.
Love this picture - Ava fell asleep in this position - cutest thing ever!
Bath time with Sam
Sam is such a good big Brother and he loves his sister. He know calls her "Ah-va" - we can't get him to pronounce the "A" right but he is getting close! He likes to bring her toys to play with, try to feed her, and bring her a paci if she needs it. If he hears her crying in the morning, he will run to her crib saying "Ah-va, Ah-va" - very cute. He does get annoyed, though, that she kicks and grabs him - he takes it personally.
Sam is convinced this toy is still his and is only one of many things he climbs on - he is such a monkey we really have to keep our eyes on him! He does eventually get himself in this thing and loves to sit in it.....
My two little loveys!
Sam has now discovered Ketchup..... and he LOVES it!
We had to step in once he tried to eat it by the forkful, though!
Sunday was so hot that after church we joined Aunt Sara and Uncle Jason and Uncle Robert and Aunt Brooke and all the cousins at Eagle Island park for some swimming to cool off. Ava looked cute in her new swimsuit and LOVED floating out in the water with mom!
Sam loved the water and playing in the sand. Mom could not believe how brave he was when he walked out into the water all the way up to his neck deep! Mom was right next to him and couldn't believe it! He loved splashing around with dad and watching all the commotion.
All in all, it has been a crazy last month to say the least. On top of all the fun we've had, it's been a very busy month of moving, new jobs, new homes, new daycares, new everything! This last week we finally got to move into our new place and are loving it - it is so nice to live in a HOUSE and have a YARD and a GARAGE - we love it and Sam loves having more room to get all his energy out - and there is a lot to get out these days. On top of all the moving, every form of sickness, colds, and illness have swept our ranks from Sam getting croup, Ava sick and a cough, mom the flu and now dad is down for the count. Needless to say, we are so ready for a "boring week!" - if such a thing will even be a reality for us anytime soon.
No matter what, we are together and so thankful for our little family!
