Christmas 2015

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, we went to church and then came home for an easy (fun) dinner.  The kids wanted to Make-Their-Own-Pizza so we had Papa Murphy Mini Murphs for them.  After dinner, the kids put their pajamas on and we drove around and looked at Christmas lights, which was a big hit.

Stockings Christmas Morning

The fox and wolf hats were a big hit!

The biggest challenge was keeping Gavin out of their Stocking Treasures - he was determined to take over all of their stuff!  To fix that, Sam and Ava got their shopping carts and kept all their goodies in there for safe-keeping.

A big Thank you hug from Sam-Man

After Stockings was breakfast - I  had offered to make ANYTHING for breakfast and asked everyone earlier in the week on what they wanted..... Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal... at least it was easy!

After breakfast was opening presents... lots of excitement!

Gavin's first Christmas and he was into it and trying to open presents.  I think he loved all the excitement and activity around him and new and fun things to check out.

Ava LOVING all her princess dresses from Mema & Papa!

In the afternoon, we ventured to Sunset Park to get some fresh air - it was pretty cold so we didn't last too long but it was fun to get out in the snow!

Sam and Ava got a ride home from mom!

We had a delicious dinner of ribs, rolls and loaded potatoes after being outside.  We also played and set up and used EVERY single game, puzzle, activity, toy, craft, etc... that we had opened or gotten in a stocking that day so it was action-packed throughout.

What an awesome day to celebrate with our little family.

The day after Christmas was at Grandma and Papa's house in Kuna.  The kids always love playing with their cousins.
